The City descended on the museum for a fabulous evening, which included performances by African dance and drum group Frititi, dinner under the dome and a live auction in aid of the appeal that ndash; <a href=www.owala-water-bottle.ca>owala canada</a> along with private donations ndash; raised a hefty pound;426,000, when matched by the UK government. Kristen Braden, managing director for Citibankrsquo global subsidiaries group, and Cliff Hampton, chairman of Fenchurch Advisory Partners, were among guests treated to a drinks reception in the Dorothy and Michael Hintze Sculpture Galleries. Other guests included the Malawi and Mozambique High Commissioners. The UK government is matching all donations to the appeal, helping it to provide opportunities to even more people living in poverty. For every pound donated, the government will match it with another pound to Opportunityrsquo work in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
