The ELC went round the Euroquarter of Brussels at dead of night looking at all the offices and concluded t <a href=www.cup-stanley.co.uk>stanley mug</a> hat the Commissions transport and energy department was leading by example with only one visible light left on that evening . It issued photographs of less gloomy institutions and concluded that the building jointly shared by the Committee of the Regions CoR and the European Economic and Social Committee was the worst offender.The CoR however has countered that photographs might be deceptive. A spokesman pointed out that the building on rue Belliard has a double facade, with bamboo plants in the space in between, lit by 100 low-energy neon bulbs. These lights create the impression that the building as a w <a href=www.cup-stanley-cup.ca>stanley cup</a> hole is lit up 鈥?in fact it is only the plants that are lit and the lights consume very little electricity, he said. Inside, the lights were switched off automatically, he added, from around 8pm and at weekends, except for those lights which are required for security.
